Victor M. Rodriguez-Reyes is a Ferraiuoli Intellectual Property and Health Law & Insurance practice group's Senior Member. He is a United States Patent and Trademark Office registered patent attorney. Victor counsels clients in all areas of intellectual property, including transactions, licensing, litigation, patent drafting, and prosecution. 

Victor focuses on the intersection of technology and the legal. He has represented clients, plaintiffs, and defendants in several United States District Courts patent infringement cases. He litigated one of the first cases brought under the Puerto Rico Trade Secret Act, obtaining a preliminary injunction, which the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals confirmed, and continuously litigating trade secret cases. 

Victor is an adjunct professor at the University of Puerto Rico Law School, where he teaches the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic and has taught a Technology Transfer course. He actively participates in mentoring and teaching programs with entrepreneurship organizations such as Grupo Guayacan and the Puerto Rico Science and Technology Trust. He has advised startups and emerging technology companies.

Before joining Ferraiuoli, Victor worked as an In-house Counsel for Medical Card System, Inc. His experience included litigation of administrative proceedings before the Commissioner of Insurance, the Puerto Rico Health Insurance Administration, and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He has actively participated in high-profile negotiations involving hospitals, software companies, and government entities and the bidding processes for public health plan contracts.

Victor is also a chemist and performed undergraduate research in atmospheric and physical chemistry at Argonne National Laboratory and the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus.
