Shanelle McPherson is a dedicated advocate for cybersecurity, driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Networking focusing on Cybersecurity at the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC), Shanelle's academic journey reflects her commitment to staying at the forefront of technological advancements.

Her fascination with cybersecurity stems from the profound influence of technology on our daily lives, coupled with a keen interest in data security and online privacy. Shanelle is the founder of CodeED, a virtual online learning platform designed to introduce children with limited or no experience in coding to this critical skill. CodeED has gained recognition and is featured throughout the Caribbean, showcasing Shanelle's dedication to fostering digital literacy from an early age.

As a proactive contributor to the field, Shanelle is a proud member of the Internet Society Jamaica Chapter, where she collaborates with like-minded professionals to address the evolving challenges in the digital landscape.

In her pursuit of knowledge, Shanelle aims to explore innovative techniques and technologies that enhance online security. Through her studies, she aspires to uncover solutions that safeguard against cyber threats and protect sensitive information. Shanelle remains committed to collaborating with subject-matter experts, leveraging collective expertise to create advanced cybersecurity solutions.
