Ryan Polk, Director of Internet Policy at the Internet Society. In this role, Ryan works to improve cybersecurity on the Internet, including by promoting and defending the use of strong encryption and supporting the implementation of routing security best practices. From 2020 - 2022, Ryan co-led the Internet Society's work on encryption and coordinated encryption advocacy efforts through the Global Encryption Coalition.

Ryan holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Computer Science from University of North Carolina at Wilmington
