Mr. Eduardo Meléndez Jr. (Santiago) is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Internet Society of Puerto Rico Chapter, a recipient of the Scholarship of the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Security (NCAE-C PhD Scholar Via an NCAE-C Grant), Member of InfraGard, Member of IEEE, ACM, ICANN, NCyTE Center.
Mr. Meléndez has a BS and MS in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, respectively, and doctoral studies in Computational Mathematics from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, studies in Mathematical Statistics from Rutgers University, and Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.
He is currently in the dissertation phase of completing a PhD in Engineering and Applied Sciences, with a concentration in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. His main interests include Cybersecurity, particularly cryptography and steganography; coding theory; Machine Learning; Visual Computing (image and video processing); NN, DL, and Transformers; Competitive Programming; and Programming Languages, among many other subjects.
